Designing inclusive and sustainable cities is one of the most relevant challenges that architects and urban planners are called to address this century.
According to UN Habitat, urbanisation in Lesotho is predicted to reach 60% by 2050, and without adequate planning this growth has the potential to lead to disorganised, unsustainable and non-inclusive urban and suburban environments.
Ian Goodfellow, Penoyre & Prasad Principal, will join Amira Osman, Professor at Tshwane University of Technology, Mphethi Morojele, Founder and Managing Director of MMA Studio and Ramohlaboli Khotle, Principal Lecturer at Limkokwing University, to discuss these issues in the webinar ‘Inclusive Design in Lesotho and Internationally‘, hosted by Relationships Inspiring Social Enterprise (RISE), as part of their monthly series.
RISE is a US registered non-profit focusing on social enterprise and the built environment.
