Suzi Winstanley’s ThinkSpace report researches how to observe and design
for the changing user needs in contemporary University libraries. The full report is available here.

Suzi is a London based researcher and an Associate with Penoyre & Prasad. Her research with ThinkSpace emerges from, and runs parallel to, her work at the extension and refurbishment scheme for the University of Kent’s Templeman Library, which is used as a case study and test site for prototyping. ThinkSpace is a practice led research project examining new demands on reader spaces facing the contemporary university library. It includes proposing and modelling prototype design solutions as an integral part of the research process.
