On 20th March Mark Rowe and Barry Simpson attended the first meeting of the Working Group for the Redevelopment of Sergiyev Posad in the Moscow Province of Russia.
Having accepted the invitation from the Regional Centre for Urbanism to join this comittee earlier in the month, this meeting offered an opportunity to meet key municipal and regional government representatives and discuss some of the important urban issues and development challenges facing this unique historical town as it seeks to define it’s future.
Penoyre & Prasad are currently developing residential masterplans for several sites in the south of the town.
