We’ve got the drawing itch at P&P. Last week’s workshop saw ropes overtake the studio space. Our in-house drawing agitators tasked us with drawing the spaces in between the ropes. They supplied us with coloured paper and chalk and took away all the white paper. Timed drawing slots saw us moving, then pausing to draw, then moving again. Silence overtook the space. We drew at different scales, resisting or succumbing to the urge to draw the outlines of the ropes. The results are a delicious reminder of the power of freehand, bring on the next session!
