Neil has expertise in leading the consultation for, and delivery of, large complex projects. He is currently leading the Bath Quays South project, a mixed-use riverside development on an historical former industrial site in the World Heritage city of Bath.
Neil was Project Leader for The Bloom Mixed Use Centre in west London, a complex mixed-use project that involved a multi-headed client, many disparate stakeholders and high client aspirations for density. His deep knowledge of construction and buildability issues have contributed to his track record in delivering quality buildings on time and on budget. Prior to this he was the Project Leader on Guy’s Tower, a major refurbishment of one of the tallest hospital towers in the world, with an overcladding system designed in part to address energy and performance, and an overall solution which will create additional internal space.
Neil also led the delivery of the Richard Desmond Children’s Eye Centre at Moorfields, a multi-award winning, non-institutional health and research environment for children. The new building connects to both the existing building and to the adjacent Research Institute so included technically complex and heavy interfaces, with some reconfiguration of basement spaces in the existing building.
He is committed to maintaining design quality through modern procurement methods including 2 Stage Tendering and Procure 21. He is part of the practice management team with particular responsibility for resourcing and benchmarking technical standards across the practice.BA (Hons) Dip Arch RIBA
