Greg co-founded the practice with Sunand Prasad and they now share its leadership and design direction with four other Partners. He has played a central role in the design, procurement and delivery of a majority of Penoyre & Prasad’s 300 plus projects of many types across commercial and public sectors.
Greg steers our business and financial aspects while championing the craft of drawing and constructional detail in the studio. He has developed a particular specialism in architecture for senior living to which he brings his widely recognised clarity of vision and pragmatic, solution-driven approach to unlocking problems.
Greg regularly serves on design review panels, and as an architectural assessor of competitions. He is an active member of the RIBA Awards Group and judge of national and international awards. He has advised numerous clients and industry bodies concerned with healthcare, education and procurement.
Having been involved in teaching, course validation and external examining at a number of universities, Greg is currently a visiting Professor at the University of Sheffield. He combines a love of older buildings with a deep knowledge of architectural history and is a Conservation Registrant under the RIBA Conservation Register.
Greg is highly accomplished in drawing and painting and is an experienced sailor, activities he is known to combine.
