Penoyre & Prasad together with Diller Scofidio + Renfro have been shortlisted for LSE’s £100m Paul Marshall Building Competition.
The project replaces the 8-storey office building at 44 Lincoln’s Inn Fields and will include ‘innovative and adaptable teaching and research workspaces combining the best of old and new methods of student centred learning and academic enquiry.’
Paul Marshall is a major benefactor of LSE, contributing £30m for the Marshall Institute for Philanthropy and Social Entrepreneurship and towards the redevelopment of 44 Lincoln’s Inn Fields.
The shortlist also includes AL_A, David Chipperfield Architects, Grafton Architects, Herzog & de Meuron Architects and Niall McLaughlin Architects + Scott Brownrigg.
