Ian Goodfellow will deliver the keynote speech ‘Pedagogic, economic and cultural trends currently shaping UK university design’ at the Old School/New School forum on 16th October 2019 in Sydney.

Old School/New School – a forum about the future of education design – brings together influential architects, designers, educators and social change leaders to discuss issues, share their experiences and speculate on possible futures for education design.

Ian, Partner at Penoyre & Prasad and Deputy Chair of the HEDQF which promotes high quality design in university campuses and buildings, will give an overview of how changes in pedagogy and wider economic and cultural trends are currently shaping UK university design, and the research being undertaken by HEDQF to assist universities and designers to respond to these changes.

Further talks and case studies from experts in designing for education will continue through the day’s event.
