Our work at The Learning & Teaching Centre, Brunel University London, will be featured in the ‘Hand Held to Super Scale: Building with Ceramics’ exhibition at the Building Centre.
The exhibition and associated public programme has been co-curated by Fettle Studio, founded by architect and ceramic artist Lydia Johnson, who Penoyre & Prasad collaborated with alongside leading tile manufacturer NBK Terracotta, to develop the different textures and glazes for the facade of the Learning & Teaching Centre for Brunel University London.
The exhibition celebrates the resurgence of ceramics in contemporary architecture and brings together the designers, ceramicists, artists and manufacturers working with this material, and embraces both traditional production methods and innovative technology.
