Pia Berg, Associate at Penoyre & Prasad led our Green Sky Thinking event this year at Wimbledon College of Arts, which explored how through close collaboration between the design team and the University of the Arts London, a building of exemplar sustainable credentials was achieved.

Siobhan Kneale of Open City introduced the talks, part of the ‘Intelligent Design’ theme, which discussed how the use of data and technology can push the boundaries of  design.

Environmental Engineer Paul Downie of CES explained how thermal modelling and analysis of data helped to inform the design and Structural Engineer Rob Nield of Webb Yates discussed how the structural solutions were realised.

Greg Penoyre chaired an informative Q&A session with the audience to round off the event.
