COP15 is critical for securing an international treaty to limit global warming. Continuing the work of the RIBA on climate change, Sunand Prasad will participate in events at Copenhagen designed to campaign on behalf of the built environment profession for an equitable and effective climate treaty, and to highlight the profession’s contribution to action on climate change.

Sunand’s presentation ‘Urban Greening: A pleasure not a hairshirt’ looks at alternatives to scare tactics in engaging popular and industry participation. He will also contribute to Culture/Futures, an international collaborative organisation shaping a transformative cultural agenda on ecological issues and will participate in activities of the International Union of Architects and the Global Commons Initiative.
