The Sir Ludwig Guttmann Health & Wellbeing Centre has been awarded a Civic Trust Award at Friday’s ceremony in London. A landmark civic building on the London 2012 Olympic Athletes’ Village site, it is a significant legacy building, providing state-of-the-art accommodation for NHS primary care needs and a variety of community and health facilities for the London Borough of Newham.
The Civic Trust Awards recognise the very best in architecture, design, planning, landscape and public art. Awards are given to projects that demonstrate high quality architecture or design, have demonstrated sustainability, are accessible to all users and have made a positive cultural, social or economic contribution to the local community.
