On January 29th, Sunand Prasad lectured at the Royal Society of Medicine on the effect of architecture and atmosphere on patients.

Beginning with a brief history of this topic, he then suggests that pleasant surroundings are key to recovery, and the space provided to patients is crucial to their wellbeing.

This lecture was part of an event called ‘Art, society and medicine: Architecture as medicine’, at The Royal Society of Medicine in London, an independent, apolitical organisation founded over 200 years ago. It is one of the largest providers of continuing medical education in the UK.
