As co-founder of the practice Greg Penoyre has played a central role in the design, procurement and delivery of the practice’s 300 plus projects across commercial and public sectors. He provides strategic leadership within the practice, and develops its overall design direction.
Greg is a respected figure in the profession, valued for his broad and informed understanding of the design and construction industry, his clarity of vision and his pragmatic, solution-driven approach to unlocking problems. He has advised numerous clients and industry bodies, including the National Health Service (NHS) Estates and Partnerships for Schools on procurement and design quality, and has acted as Design Champion for a number of major bids.
Greg is committed to architectural education, responding to the evolving nature of the architectural profession. He is a visiting Professor at the University of Sheffield and has been involved in course validation and external examining at a number of universities. He has recently become a Conservation Registrant under the RIBA Conservation Register.
He is passionate about the role of drawing in communicating architecture, and a regular contributor to the architectural press.
